Microsoft is going to add one more upgraded version on the types of Xbox that is Xbox 720.  The Xbox 720 is an upcoming video game console developed by Microsoft, and is a successor for the Xbox 360 version.
Microsoft has announced that the launch of next generation gaming console is going to take place in 2013 and public unveiling for the same is supposed to take place in the month of June, 2013. 

This gaming console belongs to the eighth generation of video game consoles and is considered to be a sole competitor to Sony's PlayStation 4 and Nintendo's Wii U
The production which previously worked for Xbox 360 has also continued their work on Xbox 720.  The first commercial about Xbox 720 went live on you tube on May 1, 2012.

The Xbox 720 kits are speculated to have the following configurations:
  • Blu-Ray drive, 
  • Support up to 8GB of RAM, 
  • An internal hard drive, 
  • Kinect 2.0 technology 
  • AMD CPU/GPU offerings, 
  • AMD Radeon HD 8000M series graphics chip, 
  • directional audio, 
  • A TV output and input, 
  • Customizable controller. 
X box 720 will have a connectivity of 100 Mbit Ethernet and a built-in Wifi capacity of 802.11a/b/g. Kinect 2.0 is able to sensor up to four people at once with the device capturing any slightest movement made by the user. 
This gaming console would also include the potential for 3D sound effect which could be an astonishing feature and open up a new range of sound possibilities in the world of gaming.  DIRECTX 11 programming interface might also be utilized for this next era gaming console. 
Assassin’s Creed 4 on the Microsoft gaming console xbox 720

Assassin’s Creed 4 game is expected to be on Xbox 720 which, as described by Bertrand Chaverot Ubisoft Brazil managing director, is going to be concentrated completely in Brazil.  Halo 5 and Killer Instinct 3 games are expected to arrive with the launch of this gaming console.

Xbox 360 had a three-core CPU, Microsoft’s Durango promises four hardware cores, and each divided into four logical cores for the next generation gaming console.  The previous version missed out the concept of Blu-Ray disc, a feature that is surely going to be available on Xbox 720. Blu-Ray discs have a capacity to hold up to 50GB on one disc.

Xbox 720 is expected to provide a better gaming experience than its predecessors but the launch will only determine the win situation of this game console.
